Deus e o Diabo na Terra do Sol

I really liked Deus e o Diabo na Terra do Sol. Its (still) a touchy subject to broach and it was done well. I can really see the Eisenstein influence particularly in the massacre scene. The characters wants and needs were easy to see and it was real filmmaking. I like it when a film offers a statement and questions but no easy answers just like the leads plight which is kind of ironic.
