Did anyone see any similarity between Deus e o Diabo na Terra do Sol and Godard's Week End? i personally found some connections between the two, however, i would like to know if anyone else felt the same if at all.

Not any direct connections, no.
Rocha admired Godard and vice versa. But I've never thought of Deus e o diabo in connection to Weekend, specifically. Please elaborate on some of the connections that you saw.
